About
I defy inertia: movement is my resting state. Always anxious to explore, I follow physical roads and paths of imagination. So while I call Utah home, I escape when I can. In recent years this inner urge has taken me far abroad. The beautiful Andes range cascading through Quito, Ecuador, and Incan ruins at Machu Picchu. The mythical landscape of Greece. The biblical terrain of ancient Israel from Dan to Beersheba. Hiking, camping, backpacking, and mountaineering—in a word, adventuring—are some of my favorite experiences. As mentioned before, I also place great faith in the imagination. Frequently my thoughts are awash with fascinating new ideas for stories and fantastical worlds. I aspire to be a novelist, and I have read voraciously and written stories since I was a young child. In my ongoing studies at Brigham Young University, I have pursued a variety of interests including literature and language (primarily), graphic design, animation, computer science, and history.
